"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 (NRSV)

God gives me the strength and courage. He provides for all my needs. I can walk with Him in glory and I feel all my efforts will succeed. God gives me all the light and wisdom, and He guides me through every day. My decisions are all destined by His will, I pray I do not stray. God does give me encouragement to move ahead with reverence. I pray I do not fail; my faith, hope and confidence are restored by God. God gives me His love and mercy. He give me strength when I need it most. Such a calmness comes over me, through my sorrow and pain. I feel cradled in His arms. And with His words, "now rest, my child," my heart and soul are warmed.

Prayer:  Dear God, thank you for your presence in happy times and in trying times. Your love is always patient and kind. Amen.
