Childhood memories of my dad's voice singing: "If with all your hearts ye truly seek me, ye will ever surely find me, thus saith our God." These are the words of the tenor aria from Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah." My father was an accomplished singer and fondly I can still hear these words long after he is gone.
